Illumination - SUMMER SESSION 2012

July 9 through July 27, 2012

Three weeks of learning, fun, and fulfillment!
This summer program is for participants ages 5 -12, and meets 5 weekday mornings from 8:30 a.m. - noon each day. First Step Trek is a separate program for children 2 1/2 to 4 years of age meeting during these three weeks, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.

All of these areas, and more, will be explored this summer, in various ways, under the common umbrella of Illumination:

Mathematics
Visual Art
Latin Language
Language Arts
  Music
Physical Education
Informal Drama
Scientific Investigation

Participants will interact with mentors and instructors of all ages and backgrounds who also love to learn. Learning is undertaken in a collegial and collaborative manner that provides participants with new opportunities each day. Small group size allows for meaningful, sustained, and enjoyable interaction among true peers.

The Developing Dimensions program of The Wisconsin Center for Gifted Learners is now in its 28th year of providing substantive experiences for gifted learners throughout southeastern Wisconsin.

Please call The Center at (414)351-4441 for more information or to be added to the mailing list to receive future details about this enriching program.
